Build your Sangria

  1. Wash your citrus, and slice into rounds

  2. In a pitcher or any container, pour in your wine, vodka, and fruit rounds. Stir and place into your fridge for at least an hour. I recommend overnight.

Make your Butterfly Pea Syrup

  1. In a saucepan, pour in your water and sugar. Stir till the sugar has fully dissolved

  2. Add in your Butterfly Pea flowers, I used about a quarter of a cup. Stir to combine, remove from the heat, and cover with a lid

  3. After the flowers have sat in your syrup for around 3 - 5 minutes, strain the syrup into an airtight container. This should stay well in a fridge for about a month

Build your cocktail

  1. Pour your syrup into your glass and add ice on top. This will help to get your cocktail to not mix before you are ready.

  2. As you can see in my (blurry) picture, I did not follow step one and you can see the color change already.

  3. Using a bar spoon, slowly pour in your sangria.

  4. Get your camera ready! Stir and watch the colors change

  5. Garnish with a lime wheel

  6. Enjoy!
